February 12, 2010 - Governer Rendell Visits

Now this is GREAT Customer Service!!! On Friday, February 12, 2010 Bala Cynwyd KFC store had the honor of serving the governor of Pennsylvania, Governor Ed Rendell. Governor Rendell, after enjoying an evening out at a basketball game, decided to end his evening the best way possible, stopping by "The Cornel's Inn" for a late night snack. The Governor arrived a little after 9:30pm and was greeted by Marcella Manigo AGM who was very excited to have the chance to meet and serve him. His order comprised of 10 pieces of Buffalo Wings and a drink, just something small to take for the ride home. Marcella gave me a call to let me know of his visit and we spoke briefly. He wanted to let me know how much he loves the restaurant and the service he was receiving from the staff. I thanked him for his kind words and also thanked him for how the state handled the snow removal efforts for the past two snow storms. He said 'that is why he came out for the evening to relax after this exhausting week.' The governor spent about another 30 minutes talking with the other guests in the restaurant and then proceeded on home. Before leaving he informed us that he will be back, soon!!!!
